Pearl Dudek International Academy (PDIA)

The Pearl Dudek International Academy (PDIA) was constructed in 2020 and 2021, primarily during the Covid19 Pandemic. Classes began in September 2021 with 80 enthusiastic children in kindergarten through grade 6.

Education is costly and not readily available in Sierra Leone. Our longer-term goal is to offer a full kindergarten through grade 12 curriculum of high-quality education. The school will be based on the Loreto Day School Model where the student population is comprised of approximately 50% students coming from more affluent families and 50% who are living in poverty (see, www.loretobowbazar.in). The school fees paid by the affluent families will subsidize the other students.
